Crafting Resilience
A workshop on cultivating mental strength through creativity
Apply your mind and expand your knowledge in the first half of the Crafting Resilience workshop, where you will learn about mental resilience and strategies that can work to enhance yours, enabling you to better cope with stress, adapt to challenges, and maintain a positive mindset. After a wholesome vegetarian bowl lovingly prepared by the folk at Wild Eatery, you’ll have an opportunity to put Mindfulness, a newly-learned strategy for building mental resilience, into practice during a guided watercolour paint tutorial. With fynbos as your inspiration, learn the craft of watercoloring while consciously refining the essential skill of being present and engaged.
The Crafting Resilience workshop aims to leave you equipped with a holistic understanding of mental resilience, strategies to enhance your coping skills, and the opportunity to learn the art of watercoloring, a creative, mindful process that is considered a tool able to help build mental resilience - all of which will empower you to navigate life's ups and downs more effectively.
Hosted by Bryony McCormick & Naomi Brand. Bryony is a registered counsellor and media consultant with a passion for empowering through awareness, education and community.
